There is an easy Dancing LED's circuit made by NE555 and CD4017. NE555 is using as an Astable multivibrator so that the clock pulses given as input for the CD4017, every pulse received at the clock input of CD4017, outputs 2,4,7,10,1,5,6,9 to Q9 of CD4017 goes high one after one respectively and alternatively. Light emitting diodes attached to these pins emit lights in the attracting manner to give a dancing LED's view. Velocity of dancing LED's depends upon the frequency of clock pulses produced by the NE555.
